Privacy Policy
Effective Date: May 26, 2026
3G Painting & Coatings ("3G Painting," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit threegpainting.com (the "Site") or otherwise interact with us, how we use that information, and the choices you have. By using the Site you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who We Are
3G Painting & Coatings is a residential and commercial painting contractor based in Rhode Island (RI Contractor Registration GC52327) serving the East Bay and surrounding communities. You can reach us by phone at (561) 969-8245 or by email at 3g.painting401@gmail.com.
2. Information We Collect
The Site does not include a contact form, account system, or e-commerce checkout. We collect very limited information:
- Information you provide directly. If you choose to call, text, or email us using the links on the Site, you may share your name, phone number, email address, project address, photographs, and the details of the work you would like a quote for. We only receive this information once you initiate contact.
- Automatically collected technical data. Our hosting provider may log basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages viewed, and time of visit. This is standard server log data used to keep the Site running and secure.
- Cookies and similar technologies. The Site uses only the essential cookies and local storage needed for it to function (for example, to remember your theme preference). We do not currently run third-party advertising or analytics trackers on the Site itself.
- Social media interactions. If you follow a link to our Facebook or Instagram pages, those platforms collect information about you under their own privacy policies. We have no control over their data practices.
3. How We Use Information
- To respond to your inquiry and prepare an estimate or proposal.
- To schedule, perform, and follow up on painting and coating services.
- To send invoices, receipts, warranty information, and service updates.
- To maintain records required by Rhode Island contractor regulations.
- To improve the Site, troubleshoot issues, and protect against abuse.
- To comply with applicable legal obligations.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share limited information only:
- With service providers who help us run the business (for example, accounting, scheduling, website hosting, or email tools), under obligations of confidentiality and only as needed to perform their work.
- With subcontractors or suppliers when necessary to complete your project (for example, to confirm a delivery address).
- When required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our customers or the public.
- In connection with a sale, merger, or other transfer of our business assets, in which case successors will be bound by this Policy.
5. Project Photography
We frequently photograph completed work for our portfolio, website, and social media. We do not publish identifying information such as house numbers, names, or addresses. If you do not want photos of work performed at your property to be used publicly, simply let us know in writing before the project begins and we will respect that request.
6. Data Retention
We keep customer records (estimates, contracts, invoices, warranty information, and related communications) for as long as needed to provide services, support warranty claims, and meet tax, accounting, and legal requirements. Technical server logs are typically retained for a short period by our hosting provider.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information we hold. However, no website or method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Choices and Rights
You may contact us at any time to:
- Ask what information we have about you.
- Request a correction or deletion of your information.
- Ask us to stop using your project photos publicly.
- Opt out of marketing emails or texts (we rarely send any).
Depending on where you live (for example, California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, or other states with consumer privacy laws), you may have additional rights, including the right to know, delete, correct, or limit the use of your personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. To make a request, email us at 3g.painting401@gmail.com. We do not sell personal information.
9. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
